2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro
2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Specs and Features
The TRD Pro lineup is impressive, to say the least, but if you want a big truck that’s capable of nearly anything off road, then you should take a look at the Tundra TRD Pro. We’ll tell you more as we explore all the 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Specs and Features.
Suspension Specs for the Tundra TRD Pro
If you want to conquer all things off-road, you are going to need a hefty suspension underneath you with plenty of adaptability, flexibility, and strength. Lucky for you, Toyota understands that, and the Tundra TRD Pro comes with all the goods.
For starters, the Tundra TRD Pro employs Fox 2.5-inch front shocks with robust 46mm pistons. The specially-tuned springs provide 2 inches of additional lift in the front for 1.5-inches of increased wheel travel.
In the rear, you can expect similar specs with another set of Fox 2.5-inch shocks. These rear shocks have 12 bypass zones with 2.5-inch piggyback reservoirs that all work toward increasing the rear wheel travel by up to 2 inches.
Interior Tundra TRD Pro Features
Everywhere you look on the interior, you will see the TRD Pro logo proudly displayed. From the leather-trimmed seats to the floor mats and center console. Red stitching runs throughout the interior for an extra touch of class.
TRD Pro Exclusive Tundra Wheels
The TRD Pro even rides on a set of exclusive wheels. These 18-inch monsters come straight from BBS. They have five spokes done in a beautiful black satin finish.
Not only do they look stylish, but perhaps more importantly, they reduce weight. In total, they reduce the un-sprung mass of the Tundra by 13.4 pounds or 3.35 pounds per wheel.
Exterior Changes to the Tundra TRD Pro
Those rims add a lot to the overall aesthetic of the Tundra TRD Pro, but the exterior also has other exclusive flares. For starters, you have Rigid Industries LED fog lights which complement the LED headlights and accent lights. The exhaust tips are done in a fine black chrome, which also goes well with the rims.
The Tundra TRD Pro even features a unique grille and badging, but the biggest difference is the new hood scoop. One thing is for sure, this truck looks mean. You might just need some air after looking at it. Luckily, the TRD Pro is also available with a moonroof.
