For the 2018 Toyota Sienna, Toyota has fitted a new nose that gives the Sienna a more aggressive and sporty appearance. The Sienna’s 266-hp V-6 engine and 6-speed transmission were also updated for 2018. With a new 296-hp 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic. The combination helped raise the front-wheel-drive Sienna’s fuel economy by 1 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway, to 19/27 mpg, while the all-wheel-drive model saw increases of 2 mpg city and 1 mpg highway, to 18/24 mpg. With 30 more horsepower than the previous year and two more gears, the Sienna’s acceleration and responsiveness unsurprisingly improved as well.
Another great change for the 2018 Sienna was the addition of new safety and technology features or Toyota Saftey Sense. Every Sienna now comes standard with automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a lane-departure warning system that can automatically steer the van back into its lane, and automatic high-beam headlights. In addition, Toyota has equipped all 2018 Siennas with Toyota’s latest Entune 3.0 multimedia interface and Toyota’s App Suite Connect, which offers an app-based navigation system.
Available as a 7- or 8-seater, the Sienna is among the biggest in its class with more than 164 cubic feet of room for passengers. With all the seats removed, the Sienna offers a best in class cargo capacity! With features like rear climate control, and an available 16″ screen for streaming movies your rear passengers will be entertained for the ride. The Sienna is also the only van on sale in the USA with full-time AWD, making it the right choice for driving in harsh New England conditions.
